I agonised over writing this interview for a whole week. I think, maybe the most, that I’ve ever worried. Especially after last week, in retrospect I was panicky about the fact that I didn’t really talk to Chris much about actual Vampire Weekend songs/music… but I think those kinds of questions are best addressed to Ezra… and I really didn’t want to write an article that reads just like every other Vampire Weekend feature, or repeats stuff we’ve already covered (if you wanna know our thoughts on ‘Contra’ - read our album review yeah?) So, I kinda compromised? And wrote a really ridiculously long intro to make up for my Baio-focused questioning. Hope it’s okay - please don’t hate me this week, I’m too tired x
